Class News

This month, the class will be diving deeper into Culture, Science, The World, Living/Nonliving, Plant/Animal, Vertebrate/Invertebrate, Skeletons, Parts of a Pumpkin and Fall. In regards to language, we will be working on sounds, sequencing and matching. In mathematics, we will be working on recognizing numbers as well as addition and subtraction. Other key studies we will be continuing to focus on are remembering our shapes, numbers and sounds as those are an ongoing process. Since we will be celebrating Halloween this month, our classroom will be decorated with some fun decor including pumpkins and spooky crafts!

Important Dates

• School Pictures by Katerina Marie: Wednesday, October 9, 2019 (Please follow this link to view Miss Kat’s outfit recommendations!)

  • We highly recommend sending them to school wearing neutrals, pastels or earth tones. It is definitely best to avoid wearing shirts with logos/phrases/etc. Sticking to solids or non-busy patterns is always best.

• Fall Break: October 10th & 11th (No School)

  • Back to School on the 14th

  • There will not be makeup days for scheduled breaks

• Halloween Party: Thursday, October 31, 2019 (Costumes Welcome!)
